The Amazing Race 22

Hey Guys,

I know in the past week or so I’ve been sucking on posting everyday, but I’m sorry I just haven’t been feeling like it. And not to mention I’ve been very busy with work. But honestly it’s mostly because I haven’t really felt like writing. Please forgive me and I hope you will all still love me.

On happy news, I am addicted to The Amazing Race! All in all it’s always a great show but the emotions and excitement with this one is unlike any other. Usually I watch it and never really get attached to one team (yeah right) more often than not because I don’t feel anything towards them. But this season, boy oh boy. For starters we have a team made of Joey Graceffa and Meghan Camarena (Strawburry17), who are both YOUTUBERS! So you know I gotta support my fellow Youtubers. Plus Joey is just a fabulous darling! He will make you laugh and smile, guaranteed. And Meghan is just fantastic, she just takes every challenge like it’s no big deal. For example, when she went sky diving she didn’t seem nervous at all. They complement each other very well, and definitely distribute the tasks evenly between them  They are definitely the funnest team there and I just want to be best friends with them! GOOOOO TEAM YOUTUBE! I promise I won’t give anything away, but Team Youtube is doing pretty well! So excited! GO TEAM YOUTUBE!!

So obviously those are my favvys but I do have another favvy (gasp). That’s right I am currently rooting for two teams!

And the second team is one made up of dad & son (*cough* who I now have a slight crush on *cough*), who amazingly enough have both overcome cancer! HOW CRAZY IS THAT!?! The son is only 21 and is a cancer survivor. Incredible. But it’s not just for the touching story of father & son overcoming cancer story (even though it brought me to absolute tears) that makes me root for them. It is much more than that. The determination, drive, and heart in that team is something like I’ve never ever seen before. It honestly moved me, and made me re-evaluate my life and gave me a new mindset. Nothing and I mean nothing is stopping this dynamic duo. I promised i wouldn’t give anything away in case you haven’t watched it. But if you watch, you will understand what I am talking about here. They are an incredible pair to watch, and they never ceases to surprise you. Go Team O’Leary! (aka Dave and Connor!)

There are also some other teams I have been enjoying like the Roller Derby moms, who are representing and showing how tough all the moms out there really are! They are tough girls and I love their enthusiasm with every challenge. Pam & Winnie are also great girls, setting examples on how tough and determined girls are in today’s world. Caroline & Jennifer are great to watch too, they always have a positive energy and I think it’s great. Girl power! WOO! Chuck & Wynona are just great! You have a loving married couple that support each other endlessly and always are very courteous to every one that crosses their path. And the other teams all have something specific to them that makes them stand out as well. But I didn’t want to mention every team or else this post would be a lot longer.

Needless to say I am a HUGE fan of this season! Besides the beautiful traveling you get to see and the cultures you experience, the thrill of this season is epic, it truly does leave you at the edge of your seat. Unlike the other seasons I have watched, this season has been unpredictable on who’s going to win. There have been so many twists that makes for an exciting season to watch. I have been enjoying it so so so much and been telling everyone I know and their mothers to watch it! I will admit I did not watch it when it aired, I watched all four episodes (so far) last night. I went to bed incredibly late because I couldn’t wait to find out what was going to happen next. And Sunday is too far away because I am dying to know what’s going to happen next! If you have been watching, LETS CHAT ASAP please!! I need someone to chit chat with! And if you haven’t seen it yet…GO WATCH! I promise you won’t regret it!

I can only hope that one day I will be a part of this show. It is on my bucket list! It would be an incredible experience to see the world and experience all these different cultures in a short amount of time. The only thing I am scared of, is myself. I am a very competitive person and I don’t like to lose. Example, I was playing a simple board game with a few friends and N (who was my partner) was trying to give the other teams hints to help them out, I then proceeded to yell at her and tell her this was a serious game and we were going to win. Yeah….that happened. I also need to get into shape and find the perfect partner that not only would be able to handle these challenges with me but would also be able to handle me. Who knows maybe soon, it’ll be me some people will be watching and rooting for. And that would be absolutely incredible! I’ve always dreamed on going on The Amazing Race!

But that is all for now, I hope you enjoyed this post and let me know what you think! 🙂

Much love,

Vicky xx
